TVS has delivered a Online Volunteer Scheduling System built upon the LAMP (Linux, Apache, mySQL, and PHP) architecture to the Walter P. Chrysler Museum.  The flexible scheduling system handles shift and day scheduling, special events, educational and group tours, and easily allows volunteers to manage their schedules from home.

Flexible acess control allows adminstrators to modify the schedules and events, manage volunteers, and track their participation.  Multiple levels of access allow for many operation specific task allowing for the management of volunteers without full access to all adminstrative tasks.

Built with multiple visual queues the Online Scheduling System is built to be simple and easy for the online user.  This system is desigend with very lightweight menus - meaning that it doesn't have many.  Most user operations are accomplished through point-and-click interaction with the visual schedule and has built in conflict checking to make sure that over scheduling can not happen.  Eliminating errors before they happen also reduces adminstrative load, and leaves the power where it should be - with the user.
