TVS Communication Solutions Delivers Live Global Webcasts for Chrysler 2013 SRT Viper and 1500 Ram Truck from New York International Auto Show

Chrysler Corporation called on TVS Communication Solutions, a corporate and creative communications support services company, to provide a worldwide webcast of the unveiling of two new vehicles from the New York International Auto Show on April 4, 2012 - the world premiere of the 2013 SRT Viper and the 2013 1500 Ram truck. TVS has been providing webcasting to Chrysler and other major corporations for the last ten years.

The live webcasts for both of the Chrysler events were viewed by an audience of media and automotive enthusiasts all over the world. With advancing technology, webcasting allowed Chrysler to extend the audience far beyond those who were able to attend in-person. TVS also linked the feed to Chrysler’s social media and other internet portals, to promote and provide easy access to the event.

Over 39,000 viewers watched the Viper reveal online. TVS Senior Vice President Holly Hyslop was a member of the production team that traveled to New York.  “As we watched from behind the scenes, we could see thousands and thousands of viral viewers accessing the live stream from all over the world,” she recalled. “SRT President and CEO Ralph Gilles came out with such sincere enthusiasm that the new Viper received two standing ovations. He even kissed the car.  We are very proud to have been a part of it.”

This latest round of webcasts had TVS and Chrysler finishing up this year’s American Auto Show season, after similar webcasting events were held at the Los Angeles Auto Show for the 2013 Fiat Abarth reveal and at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit for the 2013 Dodge Dart.
